of World Class Trophy Hunting for:
Red Stag
Tahr
Chamois
Fallow Buck
Wapiti
Arapawa Ram
Wild Boar
Located
in the South of the South Island of New Zealand, in the South Pacific,
this hunting reserve is one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere
and provides some of the finest hunting territory in the world. This
is a family - run business where hunting is first and foremost.
Red
Deer have been roaming this area since the early 1900's and have been
closely managed for the past 26 years, consequently some fantastic world
class trophies that score well, with plenty of character have been produced
over the years. Early April is prime roaring for the stags. The Red
Stag hunt takes place on a 5,000+ acre private ranch where you are likely
to see numerous free - roaming quality trophies each day. The terrain
is moderate hill country, the valleys full with beech forest. Four-wheel
drive vehicles, horses or walking access the area. Give yourself three
or four days for this hunt. You can also add a Fallow Buck, Wapiti or
Arapawa Ram to your hunt.

The Tahr is a prized trophy for its horn and lion-like mane or ruff.
The Tahr camp is also 10,000+ acres of private property - probably the
best in the world. This is a challenging hunt where the terrain is mountainous,
but a very rewarding hunt once you get your trophy back to camp. Access
to this area is by four-wheel drive.

The Chamois hunt is conducted on private property and is a much sought
after trophy. The Chamois are probably the most difficult to hunt because
of their sharp senses. Often hunters prefer to access the area by helicopter,
an experience not to be forgotten.

This outfitter also holds hunting concessions in the Southern Alps for
the hunter who likes to access the area by helicopter or is in top physical
shape.

For a combination hunt - Tahr, Chamois, Red Stag - you should allow
yourself eight to ten days.
Hunts are offered for both trophy and non-trophy animals with your hunt
customized to suit your individual preferences and budget.
The two lodges offer easy access to some of the most beautiful scenery
in New Zealand. Places to visit include Queenstown, well known as the
adventure capital of New Zealand, and historic Arrowtown. Queenstown,
Arrowtown and Wanaka are excellent for shopping and are replete with
fine restaurants and relaxed cafes. They also have top class local wineries,
including Gibbston Valley where the restaurant serves delicious lunches.
Tours of the Central Otago wineries are very popular with guests.
The town of Gore is famous for brown trout fishing and country music.
It has great cafes and well stocked outdoor suppliers for all your hunting
needs.
This outfitter is dedicated and experienced. The guides know the area
extensively and work hard to give you a hunt both memorable and enjoyable.
As an experienced hunter yourself, you'll know that skill plays a big
part in any hunt. The guides are there to make sure that luck, teamed
with your own experience, dedication and good equipment, is on your
side.
Fishing
and Bird hunting can be arranged in season, with many good rivers and
streams within an hours drive from the lodge.
