Kodiak
Island
This
outfitter runs a small operation on Kodiak Island. The goat hunts are
backpack hunts, spending the first day hiking in and up, usually taking
the goat on day two or three and hiking out the next day. These are
seven-day hunts that can also include deer, ducks and fox. Though still
goat hunting, these hunts usually occur between 1,500 and 2,500 feet
and offer excellent trophies. A hunt that is a bit less physical than
most. These hunts are also by draw, and the application deadline is
December 6th.

hunting Mountain Goats in the Prince William Sound area on a Chugach
National Forest Guiding Concession. The area has a large goat population

is used. The hunts are conducted in the months of September and October
with large billies being the target. Tags are sold over the counter.
Clients fly scheduled air to Valdez and are met by the outfitter at
the Best Western Valdez. No charter fees.

Territories. Rising from the lowlands of the Mackenzie River to the
peaks of the Ragged Range on the Yukon border. This large concession

a grassy knoll, the next one will find himself on rock ledges, higher
than the sun. This hunt is helicopter supported which allows the outfitter
to hunt the entire concession, spread out hunting pressure and get the
hunter to the prime spots.
